If you're teaching a short course, stick to one language so students can get the most out of their learning time.

  • Learning more than one language, especially very different languages (e.g., both Python and JavaScript), is very confusing for students!
  • If your course is not very long, it is better to teach one language very well than to spend large amounts of time translating between two languages.
  • In your examples, do your best to cover only one language paradigm or style of pseudocode.
