Remind students that it’s better for time management and project outcomes to get code reviewed after each small change is made.
Students have trouble seeing the connection between models (UMLs, etc.) and code so they only want to focus on coding, a problem when teaching modeling.
Show students to separate the for-loop header from the for-loop content when discussing how many times a for-loop loops because students can get overwhelmed, but need to be able to separate the conditional from the loop’s content.
