- In this activity, one student, the Controller, will give the other student, the Code, explicit instructions to follow to imitate how coding makes a computer do something.
- To prepare for this activity, print out full-page images of Scratch blocks for students to use.
- Activity:
- Assign students to pairs.
- Assign one student to be the Controller and the other to be the Code.
- Tell the Controller that they must get the Code to perform some task.
- For example, this task might be moving to a certain location in the room.
- The Controller must use the printed out images of blocks to get the Code to perform the task.
