Ask each student to bring in their favorite YouTube video that explains a certain computer science topic to give the class a variety of different explanations for the same concept.

  • Students should prepare a summary of the video that they are bringing into class.
    • To incentivize finding a good YouTube video, have the whole class vote for the best video.
  • This activity is excellent for helping students become independent learners. It encourages them to figure out how to search for YouTube videos on a topic they don’t understand and evaluate whether the videos they find are helpful.
